A Guide To Becoming An Ally For Women Of Color

On today's episode, we're talking to Sage and Aparna, the founders of Future For Us, an organization dedicated to advancing womxn of color at work. Future For Us launched in January of 2019 and already, Sage and Aparna have hosted events across Seattle as well as the Future For Us Assembly - their first conference which sold out of tickets in a matter of weeks. We know that it's hard to have conversations about race, equity, and gender - but as Sage and Aparna put it, it's time to get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

On this episode, we get into:

- Recognizing your privilege

- Intersectional feminism

- Being an ally for womxn of color in the workplace

- Ways to support people of color

We're excited to announce that Future For Us will be hitting the road this fall for a seven-city tour for their State of Womxn of Color Summit. Learn more and find tickets to their Seattle event here: futureforus.co
